HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
We encourage you to write letters that focus on bringing support, happiness, and encouragement to those in foster care. This can include funny jokes or heartwarming messages. Also, if you're more of an artistic person, you can create dedicated art that helps uplift those in the foster care system. These letters and pictures can be either online created through platforms, such as Google Docs and Canva, or by hand (and be scanned into a pdf). It is noted though that handwritten letters are more personal, so if you don't mind, that would be the best option. However, all ways are acceptable.
For instructions on how to scan a handmade document into a pdf, click here. However, if you can't scan the art/letter, you can send photos of them, but please make them clear. Once you finish your letter/picture, you can send it to us through our email (firstname.lastname@example.org), and we will virtually send it to different foster care and adoption agencies.
Please note that unless you let us know otherwise, we may show your letter/art for promotional purposes (ex. Instagram, TikTok, press releases, sample letters/art).
